I want to clarify my association with Vehicle Dynamics Institute
(VDI). I do not own VDI, but I am closely associated with them.
They are the only training organization that is authorized to
use my name. It is run by Joe Autera and Larry Side; they use
my training methods and system. I try to be at as many programs
as physically possible. They run VDI with the same philosophy
that has allowed us to stay in the business for more than 35
years, and I am confident that with Joe and Larry at the helm
they have another 35 years ahead of them. You

Feedback
Gathering
feedback from each of the VDI students plays an important
part in the continuous improvement process and is just one of
the tools used by our management team to assess the effectiveness
of our programs and instructors. The entire process is designed
to ensure that what we teach is useful to those who matter most
– the professionals whose job it is to protect corporate
executives, political leaders and government officials around
the world. |

TRAINING FACILITY
The VDI/TSA programs are conducted at one of the premier motor
sports complexes in the northeast. The facility, is a one hour
drive from New York City, and affords our students access to
a 170,000 square foot defensive/evasive driving pad, a 1.3 mile
road course and a 1 mile off-road driving course as well as
a separate ½ mile vehicle ambush/counter-ambush course.

ADVANCED INSTRUCTOR PROGRAMS |
 This
is not a basic instructors program. It is state of the art training,
and technically demanding. The program should be taken by those
individuals who are serious about driver training. Students
will gain and understanding of the laws of physics and how they
affect the driving task. This is not a sit in a car and drive
around a race track program taught by individuals who became
driving instructors a few years ago. This unique program explains
the driver training process in detail and provides students
with actual training scenarios. Students receive hands-on experience
designing driving exercises, objectively evaluating and testing
students and vehicles. There is no other program like this.
Students will learn to: |
- Goals and objectives of each exercise
- How to accurately and objectively measure
student performance
- Safely design driving exercises and develop
there physical dimensions.
- Practical application for each exercise
- How to correct student problems
- How to measure your performance as an instructor
- Develop an objective scoring system
- Conduct the training program with maximum

TRAINING
MATERIAL
With most programs students go home with a pat on the back and
a diploma, at our programs students leave with books, test procedures,
evaluation forms and CD Discs. Students receive;

Training Units have long been a major component of Scotti Associates.
Many times a client has a specific training need that may not
fit into a standard program. To address these needs we provide
training at your facility or ours, anywhere in the world. We
have over 30 years of experience conducting these programs;
we have conducted training programs in 33 countries on five
continents. In fact we have conducted more programs in more
locations than any other private training institution in the
world. We can also train your personnel to conduct their own
in house driver training and evaluation programs, if this method
is chosen we leave the client with a compete turn key training
program - including lesson plans - power points and training
manuals. These programs are only available to corporate, government,
or law enforcement entities. This method of training can be
cost effective. |

- Vehicle Dynamics and Evaluation Course |
| The TSA Vehicle Dynamics
and Evaluation Course will provide invaluable training for anyone
associated with driver training, or anyone who wants to take
the next step in advanced driving. This is a unique course that
was originally designed for automotive engineers and test drivers.
There is no other course like this. |

Tony Scotti is available for consulting. TSA consulted with
Mercedes Benz for the introduction of the Mercedes Guard Car
(Armored Mercedes); duties included conducting product demonstrations
programs, and conducting testing and evaluation. Tony Scotti
Associates developed an educational seminar on Executive Protection
Mobility for Mercedes Benz. The program was developed to display
the attributes of the Mercedes Guard Car (Armored Vehicle) the
training program was designed to protect executives and personnel
working in dangerous environments. |
